Gaining, Losing & Maintaining

This morning I came to the conclusion that I obviously know how to gain weight and do a very good job at it…. and now I recently have discovered I’m good at maintaining my weight too. But I’m having problems with losing weight!!

At least I have lost 18 pounds and still managed to keep it off. Now it’s time to keep burning the pounds off. I’ll save the maintaining skills for after I lose all the pounds I need to lose first.

There really is no point of having a treadmill at home. I have no desire or motivation to work out in the house. I realized I like being around others who are exercising too. If I decided to run on the treadmill at home… I probably would only do 5 minutes then get distracted with something else. With that said, it’s time to get back in the gym and start being a gym rat.

    I managed to get stuck in a rut with losing weight – but I’m managing to maintain so that’s not too bad I suppose :D I think I’m the opposite of you thought – I’d rather exercise at home because I’m too self conscious to go to the gym… in fact, I’ve never even been to a gym!!

    I am TOTALLY on board as a motivational buddy! I worked hard at the gym for six weeks, lost a kilo and am in a funk so haven’t been since last Wednesday, just because I was disappointed. Which was STUPID because it means going back tomorrow will be just as hard, but yes.. tomorrow I’ll be back in there. We can do it! xx

    I am in that same funk too. I lost 12 and then I’ve stalled out – maintaining just fine but not getting any more off. It’s so frustrating!

    Heyyy I’d love to be an email/text buddy- just let me know! I’ve been trying to work out more… I joined a club where it’s similar to your SWEAT challenge, but it’s until August- they provide group training sessions and a billion classes. This week I’m starting to lose my motivation because I had a bad start to the week, and the place is downtown Roch, but hopefully we can help each other out!!! I’ve lost a total of 5.2lbs so far since June 7th. :) :)
